She has transformed herself from a girl-next-door beauty pageant queen to one of Australia’s most in-demand models.
And Jesinta Franklin (née Campbell), 26, lived up to her stylish reputation when she stepped out in a fashion-forward ensemble in Sydney on Thursday following her appearance on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show.
Wearing her peroxide-blonde hair in a sleek, shoulder-length bob, Jesinta strode through bustling Martin Place in a brown, fur-lined leather jacket and matching leather jodhpurs, both by Australian label Zimmermann.
She completed her look with a black turtleneck sweater and a pair of checked booties by Jimmy Choo.
Jesinta also clutched a brown box bag by Jimmy Choo while adding a vintage flare to her look with a pair of aviator-style glasses by Le Specs.
Earlier in the day, Jesinta appeared on The Morning Show for an interview discussing her struggles with depression and anxiety.
‘Personally, I get anxiety every now and again when I get too stressed and I take on too much work,’ she confessed.
‘I think it’s really important to break down the stigma of the things that everyday Australians are dealing with every single day.’
She also spoke about the importance of understanding that most Australians will go through anxiety or depression at some stage in their lives and they shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help.
‘There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, everyone goes through it at some level or some stage in their life and it’s okay,’ she said.
‘The first step to recovery is putting your hand up and saying, “I need help”.’
Jesinta also provided an update on her husband Buddy, who took time away from Australian Rules football in 2015 to focus on his health and well-being.
‘He’s doing really well,’ she said. ‘It’s all been really good with him.’
