Jackie ‘O’ Henderson made a tearful confession during Tuesday night’s episode of The Masked Singer.
The radio host, 45, was overcome with emotion during the Kitten’s searing rendition of Wendy Matthew’s 1992 hit, The Day You Went Away.
After the performance, a blubbering Jackie admitted the cute kitten costume reminded her of her nine-year-old daughter.
‘It’s making me miss my daughter,’ Jackie said of her only child Kitty, who remained in Sydney while she filmed the hit Channel 10 show in Melbourne.
‘You are so cute. You don’t know how much she would love you,’ she added.
Touched viewers of the show rushed to Twitter to admit they could relate to the radio titan’s emotional state.
‘Jackie O crying over Kitten reminds me of my dumb ass weeping over Monster in last season! This show bringing on all the emotions. Osher, how do you keep it together???’ one viewer asked.
Another intellectual viewer added: ‘Jackie O crying over kitten’s performance on tonight’s Masked Singer is the best representation of the pandemic rendering it impossible to respond to anything with the appropriate level of emotion.’
However, other viewers thought the blonde stunner’s reaction was simply over the top.
‘Imagine crying over a cat singing. What planet am I on?’ quipped one viewer.
Jackie shares custody of her daughter Kitty with former husband Lee Henderson.
The pair announced their split in October 2018, after 15 years of marriage.
Meanwhile, Katie Noonan was revealed as the Sloth during the episode.
After taking off her mask, the acclaimed 43-year-old chanteuse left the show’s judges stunned, with none of them able to guess her identity.
