The bridal gown is one element that can be worth repeating, even though wedding days are frequently thought of as once-in-a-lifetime occasions.

Celebrities aren’t above the trend of brides re-wearing their expensive gowns to other glamorous occasions.

Over the years, several well-known faces have redesigned their wedding gowns for red carpet events and similar events, allowing their bridal numbers to take center stage once more.

After getting married to 37-year-old Jack Whitehall in April 2026, British model and bride Roxy Horner even wore hers down the grocery store aisle.

The 34-year-old bride exclaimed, “I refuse to wear this once,” as she strolled through the grocery store with her trolley in a video that the influencer recently posted.

However, some A-list celebrities who have not yet tied the knot still like the sophistication and glitz of bridal wear; the 2026 Met Gala included a number of ivory and cream ensembles that could be mistaken for wedding gowns.

So, can you determine which famous person is wearing their bridal gown again and which is simply wearing a similar one?

Continue reading to find out which celebrities are choosing a bridal makeover and which are just adopting the style of a dream wedding.

    Horner, Roxy

Roxy, who said “I do” to comedian Jack Whitehall, 37, last month, stated, “I refuse to wear this once,” as she strolled through the grocery store with her trolley in a video that the 34-year-old influencer posted earlier this week.

Influencer Roxy Horner took recycling your wedding gown to the next level in a humorous video that showed her strolling around her neighbourhood grocery store while wearing her stunning bridal gown from the church aisle to the supermarket aisle.

Last month, Roxy and TV personality Jack Whitehall exchanged vows at the 17th-century Euridge Manor in the Cotswolds while wearing a strapless silk gown designed by Galia Lahav.

“He asked me to walk down the aisle again… So I dressed appropriately,” she wrote as she carried her cart down the aisle.

“I refuse to wear this dress just once @theweddingclubofficial @sabinamotasem,” she continued in her caption.

Roxy, who has a daughter named Elsie with Jack, changed into her second dress for the celebration on her big day at the stunning Cotswolds country home. She also added jewels from Roxanne Assoulin and Alaïa’s Le Coeur heels, along with a veil from the designer.

    Blunt Emily

Emily Blunt looked stunning at the January Golden Globes wearing an all-white Louis Vuitton dress, exquisite Tiffany jewels, and Christian Louboutin heels. The gorgeous ensemble was considered a “bridal fashion” appearance.

Emily, 43, arrived wearing a white, sculpted one-shoulder dress with a high neckline and glittering silver buttons. A peek of her amazing body was provided by the exquisite design that fell into a fishtail skirt.

Many referred to the two-piece, which had a floor-length skirt and a cape-like top, as “bridal fashion,” and it’s possible that she chose it for her own wedding.

However, Emily chose a cream silk Marchesa gown with a sweetheart neckline and exquisite embroidery when she married actor John Krasinski in July 2010.

Later, as Emily thought back on her idyllic Italian wedding, she joked that the only thing she regretted about the day was applying a “patchy” DIY spray tan.

    Camilla, Queen

During a visit to the Italian Parliament with the King in January of last year, Queen Camilla wore her wedding gown again, albeit with a few minor changes, showcasing her ageless style in its purest form twenty years after her wedding.

Compared to the monarch’s first marriage to Princess Diana at London’s Westminster Abbey, Queen Camilla and King Charles’s wedding day in 2005 was undoubtedly a more low-key affair.

The Queen chose an ivory silk chiffon dress with a scalloped trim, a beautiful fitted coat, and a Philip Tracey hat for the civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall.

However, during a visit to the Italian Parliament with the King last January, the queen chose to re-wear her wedding attire, albeit with a few minor adjustments, showcasing her classic elegance in its purest form twenty years later.

On the third day of the couple’s State Visit to Italy, Her Majesty wore the Anna Valentine design, which was recycled by the same designer twenty years later.

Beth Somerville, an artist from the King’s Foundation, has added more needlework embellishments to the ensemble.

In order to accompany her husband Charles to the Italian Parliament, the Queen decided to wear the dress.

She accessorised the white dress with a cream purse, gold bangles, her engagement ring, and a pearl necklace.

Camilla changed into a lovely blue ensemble for the reception after wearing the gorgeous attire for her Guildhall civil ceremony.

The monarch has already repurposed her bridal gown, though.

She defied convention by donning the dress at the opening of the National Assembly for Wales in 2007, just two years after getting married.

    Paltrow, Gwyneth

Gwyneth Paltrow attracted attention at the 2026 Oscars wearing a bold white Giorgio Armani Prive gown with high-thigh slits. Despite its more sensual side slits, the appearance might have reminded some people of a bridal gown.

Gwyneth Paltrow attracted attention at the 2026 Oscars wearing a bold white Giorgio Armani Prive gown with high-thigh slits.

Gwyneth, 53, dazzled spectators at the 98th Annual Academy Awards with a couture ensemble that included shimmering accents and a strapless neckline.

Despite its more sensual side slits, the appearance might have reminded some people of a bridal gown.

In actuality, though, Gwyneth Paltrow chose a cap-sleeved lace Valentino dress when she said “I Do” to writer, director, and producer Brad Falchuk in September 2018.

The bride then changed into a white playsuit made by her friend Stella McCartney just in time to dance to songs from the 1980s.

    Solomon, Stacey

The astute Sort Your Life Out host decided to wear her wedding gown to the London BAFTA Television Awards in 2025.

Television star Stacey Solomon married Joe Swash in July 2022 in a small ceremony held in their Essex home’s yard, known as “Pickle Cottage.”

Stacey wore a custom off-white Berta Bridal ‘Jessica’ gown from Verona Bridal, which was lauded by many for its off-the-shoulder straps and princess-style corset.

However, a few years later, the astute Sort Your Life Out host went one step further and decided to wear her wedding gown to the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards in London.

Stacey eliminated the off-the-shoulder sleeves and added striking pointed embellishment to the neckline while maintaining the corseted bodice from the original garment.

But her skirt was transformed into shorts, and the glittering skirt overlay had a thigh-high slit.

    Stone, Emma

Emma’s costume for the red carpet was a “special piece she wore to her wedding afterparty that has never been seen publicly before,” according to Vogue, while the specifics of her Met Gala ensemble were first kept under wraps.

In September 2020, renowned American actress Emma Stone married her now-husband, Dave McCary, in a discreet ceremony following the cancellation of their original plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Even while only a small number of people saw Emma’s eye-catching garment at first, two years later, when she attended the annual Met Gala, a larger audience embraced it.

The eco-conscious actress chose to re-wear the stunning white satin Louis Vuitton dress, which has a low neckline and feathery accents.

Nicolas Ghesquiere, the creative designer at Louis Vuitton, created the outfit, which she accessorised with a pair of block heels with silver straps that resembled chains. An adorable re-wear with the ideal finish.

    Sanchez, Lauren

Many could have mistaken Lauren Sanchez’s all-white ensemble for a repurposed bridal gown when she went out with Jeff Bezos at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last year.

Many people might have confused Lauren Sanchez’s all-white ensemble for a repurposed bridal gown when she went out with Jeff Bezos at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last year.

Oscar de la Renta created the eye-catching strapless mermaid gown, which had a lengthy train and feathered frills typical of a bridal gown. Her green jewellery gave the ensemble a splash of colour.

Sanchez posed with her hands on her hips, flaunting her toned arms with long, flowing waves of hair.

Bezos even accessorised his ensemble with a white bowtie to fit the role, possibly hinting to the dress code for their impending wedding.

However, Lauren’s glitzy gown wasn’t actually a wedding gown; rather, it was just a prelude to her impending marriage.

Lauren looked stunning in white in a custom high-necked Dolce & Gabbana mermaid gown with 180 silk buttons, long sleeves, and a corseted bodice as she walked down the aisle on the grounds of a picturesque 18th-century Italian home.

Many people from all over the world applauded the flawless outfit, which reportedly required 900 hours to make.
