Inside Holly Willoughby’s luxury Portugal holiday as she cuts trip short to quarantine before This Morning return

HOLLY Willoughby has been forced to cut her Portugal trip short so she can quarantine for two weeks ahead of her return to This Morning.

The presenter, 39, has been soaking up the sun at the exclusive five-star resort of Quinta do Lago in the Algarve with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children.

The luxury resort is loved by many famous faces, including Coleen Rooney as well as Dragon’s Den star Peter Jones.

It boasts the Magnolia Hotel, but it’s likely that Holly and her family are staying in their own villa, many of which have private swimming pools and are moments from the beach.

There’s also plenty to keep Holly’s three children – Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and Chester, five – occupied at the resort

There are four golf courses and activities like kayaking, scuba diving and horse riding.

Holly is known to be a regular at The Shack, a picturesque lakeside restaurant which serves everything from burritos to burgers and has daily live music.

If the family fancy a day out, the resort is close to the Ria Formosa National Park and the Algarve’s idyllic capital, Faro, is a just 20 minutes away.

Holly hit the headlines this week, as sources revealed she’s been forced to cut short her seven-week holiday so that she can self-isolate before returning to This Morning on September 7.

The TV star will now have to return to the UK towards the end of August due to government guidelines, which rule that anybody holidaying in Portugal must quarantine for 14 days in Britain.

Speaking to the MailOnline the source said: “Instead of seven weeks away she has had to make it five – but it’s what she’s had to do to keep the This Morning team safe and to ensure she returns to the show on time.”

The blonde beauty is due back on our screens next month, with her final episode of This Morning before her summer break airing on July 10.

The quarantine period was introduced for travellers to Portugal on June 8 after there was a spike of new coronavirus cases.

The star has been treating her fans to occasional updates from her holiday on social media, sharing stunning make-up free selfies as she has enjoyed rest and relaxation while soaking up the sun.

One photo saw the mother-of-three embrace her inner mermaid as she beamed in an underwater selfie, with Holly also marking her and Dan’s 13-year wedding anniversary with a sweet throwback while abroad.
