In this viral video, a dog dives into a pool to save a drowning owner.
A VIDEO of a dog diving into a pool despite not knowing how to swim to save his owner’s life has gone viral.
The Blue Nose Boogie Pitbull is shown standing uneasily at the pool’s edge, watching his owner, Anthony Spinner, a personal trainer, and pals celebrate the Fourth of July. The 25-year-old from Los Angeles, California, then submerges himself underwater, pretending to drown while grabbing for his beloved dog.
The eight-month-old puppy, visibly distressed, sprints around the pool before plunging in to ‘save’ Anthony.
The two are then seen kissing in the water, with Boogie kissing his owner while the crowd applauds.
Unbeknownst to Boogie, the ruse had been arranged ahead of time to see how he would respond if the situation was real.
“I was taken aback,” Anthony said. “I didn’t think he’d go through with it. He had never swum before, yet he was a natural swimmer.”
Today I discovered just how much boogie adores me.
Boogie was relieved when Anthony arrived, according to Anthony. He explained, “His major purpose was to watch what was going on.” “He was overjoyed and attempted to suffocate me.”
The 26-second video was posted to Twitter the next day and has now received over four million views.
