When the broadcaster released the first teaser video on Saturday, the A-list lineup—which included Maya Jama, Richard E. Grant, Jerry Hall, Romesh Ranganathan, and Ross Kemp—was formally revealed.
Images of the celebrities landing in the highlands after using private flights and aeroplanes made the increased budget clear, even though many competitors were rumoured to have used the train previous year.
Chauffeur-driven cars have replaced the minibuses that were allegedly used to transport celebrities like Alan Carr and Sir Stephen Fry during the previous year’s series.
In order to keep the stars safe and the castle’s activities under wraps before transmission later this year, money has also been spent on strengthening security.
“Although most of the stars are British, so many of them are used to working in America that their teams are used to the treatment,” an insider stated.

“The production team has little choice but to cater to their demands because they accept the number of A-listers taking part in this year’s show makes it exceptional,” they said to The Sun.
The BBC has been approached by The Daily Mail for comment.
Maya Jama, who apparently took a significant pay cut to appear on the BBC show’s second season, was seen arriving at Inverness airport on Sunday afternoon.
Actress Julie Hesmondhalgh of Coronation Street and 61-year-old Ross Kemp of EastEnders also landed a few hours earlier. They then got into their automobiles and drove to the Scottish Highlands’ Ardross Castle.
A few hours later, singer James Blunt joined in.
Wearing sunglasses and a white T-shirt and cream trousers, Maya seemed apprehensive as she smiled to airport employees.
On the same trip, comedian Joanne McNally was also spotted wheeling her bags to the car while wearing cycle shorts and hiding behind some dark shades.
Because of her presenting duties on Love Island, Maya was allegedly the first celebrity to be contacted by Celebrity Traitors executives in an attempt to attract a younger audience.
Additionally, it was reported that last year’s celebrities were transported by minibus, which has since been replaced by chauffeur-driven vehicles (Miranda Hart pictured).
Ross Kemp, a legend from EastEnders, was seen arriving at the airport in Inverness on Sunday morning, prepared to film Celebrity Traitors’ second season.
Actress Julie Hesmondhalgh from Coronation Street was also spotted getting into her car in preparation for a trip to Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
In comparison to her salary for hosting the TV dating show, the 31-year-old was more than happy to accept a massive £760,000 pay drop.
After falling in love with the series while viewing it with her boyfriend Rúben Dias, she allegedly accepted the £40,000 rate.
