After leaving the US more than ten years ago, Natalie Portman gave fans a peek inside her life in Paris, France.
The 44-year-old Oscar winner, who is currently expecting her third child, posted several new photos to her Instagram account on Thursday. “Paris lately,” she wrote as the caption for the carousel that featured her recent adventures. The actress joined Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson, and George Clooney in switching from America to France.
She began the post with a brand-new selfie of herself standing in front of the Seine River. Her hazy profile next to a blue light was captured in another sombre nighttime photo.
She continued by sharing some adorable photos of her dog, a bouquet of flowers, and a few well-known pieces of art. A picture of a Malayan tapir was also posted by the celebrity.
In 2014, Portman and her then-husband, 48-year-old choreographer Benjamin Millepied, relocated to Paris after he began working at the Paris Opera Ballet.

“They have a much better life,” the Jay Kelly star revealed. I was concerned about parenting our children in the Hollywood culture of Los Angeles. I thought they would never have a fair chance in life. France is a country that doesn’t really care about celebrity.
Following rumours that he had an affair with climate activist Camille Etienne, Portman and Millepied separated in 2023 and finalised their divorce in 2024 after relocating to France in 2014.
Aleph, her 14-year-old son, and Amalia, her 9-year-old daughter, are the two children of her first marriage.
Since then, the celebrity has moved on with 45-year-old French music producer Tanguy Destable, with whom she is expecting her third child.
Destable and his former partner, French actress Louise Bourgoin, had two sons: Etienne, born in April 2016, and Vadim, born in 2020.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” Portman told Harper’s Bazaar after announcing her pregnancy last month. “I’m just really appreciative.” I am aware that it is a marvel and such a luxury.

Portman’s father is a fertility specialist. “I grew up hearing about how difficult it is to get pregnant,” she said, adding, “I want to be respectful around that as well because I have so many people I love who have had such a hard time.” It’s not an easy thing, but it’s also so lovely and joyful.
“And so I know how lucky it is,” the actress continued. I am really appreciative and fully aware. I am incredibly grateful and appreciative.
In March of last year, Portman and Destable were first connected.
The movie star has already complimented Paris’s privacy.
She last appeared at an event in January, when she photographed with Jenna Ortega and Charli xcx at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. She told Harper’s Bazaar, “There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp.”

She added that she feels fine. She remarked, “I have more energy than I thought I might.”

Portman forbids her kids from being in the spotlight.
“I’m not a particularly private person in real life – I’ll tell you anything – but in public, it was so clear early on that if you tell people how private you are, your privacy gets respected a lot more,” she said to Interview magazine.
“I set up a little bit of a barrier to be like, “I’m not going to do photo shoots with my kids,” the professional actor continued.
Additionally, she told Ortega for the magazine, “My kids are always a source of excitement, because you just see them develop into the individuals they are.” “I’ve been spending a lot of time with my friends, their kids, and my own kids; that’s pretty fun.”
