Kate Middleton’s £3,450 40th birthday gown pays homage to her wedding day, the Queen, and Diana.

KATE MIDDLETON has begun her 40th birthday celebrations in style, with the release of three new stunning photographs of the Duchess of Cambridge.

Kate Middleton, who turned 40 today, was born on January 9, 1982.

The Duchess of Cambridge looks every bit the future Queen, with her hair styled in side-swept curls and minimal make-up.

She modeled three stunning gowns by Alexander McQueen, one of her favorite designers, who also designed her wedding gown.

The Duchess wore a one-shoulder red dress with a statement puffy sleeve in one photo and smiled at the camera.

The dress in question was Alexander McQueen’s ‘Asymmetric Draped sleeve Anemone print dress,’ which costs £3,450 right now.

Kate wore Her Majesty’s diamond earrings, which she has worn on several occasions over the years, as a sweet tribute to the Queen.

Kate was seen wearing her late mother-in-law Diana, Princess of Wales’ pearl drop earrings in two more black-and-white photos.

Collingwood Jewellers, the Spencer family’s family jewellers, gave them to Diana as a wedding gift.

In 2017, Kate was first seen wearing them at the Spanish State Banquet.

Kate was wearing a white dress with ruffled shoulders in a close-up photo.

The third photo, meanwhile, was a side profile shot of the Duchess, this time dressed in a flowing white gown.

In honor of this monumental occasion, royal fans went crazy for the new images of Kate.

“These images to celebrate (hashtag)KateAt40 are both timeless and refreshingly modern,” tweeted @UKRoyalTea.

“I think the Duchess of Cambridge managed to pull references while also making this indelibly personal and a reflection of who she is, despite all of the comparisons.”

“Sublime Queen Catherine! Speechless! Happy Birthday Your Royal Highness! You are absolutely exquisitely beautiful human, inside and out! (hashtag)CatherineAt40,” wrote another royal admirer, @nyprincessa.

“The Duchess of Cambridge, you goddess,” a Twitter user named Kayla Adams wrote.

“I do not know any public figure as graceful as Kate Middleton in this day and age,” another royal admirer, Shazaq Khalid, wrote on Twitter.

Her serene demeanor says a lot.

In the year 2010, she has my heart.”

“Taking influence from the work of era-defining royal photographers such as Cecil Beaton, the Duchess has also channelled her admiration for Victorian photography,” said Couture Royals.

They are the ones in question.
