In frank Team GB Olympics talk, emotional Prince William reveals he’s not adept at any sport.

PRINCE WILLIAM opened out about his athletic ability as he took on the role of interviewer in the run-up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Before leaving with Team GB for the Olympic Games in Japan, Prince William chatted with boxer Lauren Price. The Duke of Cambridge went frank about his personal experience with sport during their conversation, which centered on her origins, her hardships during the pandemic, and her Olympic dream.

Ms Price talked about how she earned 52 caps for Wales as a kickboxer.

Before the age of 16, the remarkable athlete had already won four world titles in kickboxing.

However, because the sport is not an Olympic discipline, she chose to move to boxing in order to fulfill her dream of competing in the Olympics.

“You see Lauren, I have a problem,” the Duke of Cambridge stated, stunned by her abilities. “I’m not even excellent at one sport, and you’re already fantastic at three.”

Prince William is an avid sportsman who believes that athletics may have a good impact on people’s lives.

He is affiliated with a number of organizations, including the Football Association, where he served as President from 2006 to 2007.

In 2019, he combined his passion for football with his work in mental health by launching the Heads Up campaign, which aimed to make talking about mental health as simple as talking about football.

In 2006, Prince William was appointed as Vice-Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, and in 2012, he was appointed as Patron of the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.

He was also awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Marylebone Cricket Club two years later.

But the Duke of Cambridge isn’t just a sports fan; he’s also tried his hand at a few, including swimming and scuba diving.

Prince William and Kate participated in a charity regatta in 2019 that highlighted eight of their patronages.

The Duke of Edinburgh recently played polo at a star-studded event to raise money for some of the organisations he supports.

During the BBC interview, Prince William learned about Ms Price’s experience as a taxi driver, which included “picking up all the drunks on a Friday and Saturday night.”

“I bet they didn’t bother with you though, Lauren,” the Duke joked.

Ms Prince also informed Prince William about her Olympic preparations and how difficult it has been to stay emotionally and physically fit. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
