In a police swoop, a 46-year-old male teacher was arrested on suspicion of grooming.
A SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER has been arrested on suspicion of grooming, according to authorities.
The 46-year-old guy was detained on Sunday in Radcliffe, Bolton, Greater Manchester, after an incident.
He was taken into prison for questioning and bailed awaiting further investigation, according to police.
“Police attended an incident on Alexandra Road soon after 6pm on Sunday 10 October, where a group had detained a male,” a Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said.
“Officers arrived and arrested a 46-year-old male on suspicion of grooming. The investigation is still ongoing.” Wrexham Council said it would be inappropriate to comment because the matter was still under consideration.
“All matters will be handled through appropriate policies, processes, and safeguarding arrangements in cooperation with the necessary agencies,” the council added.
