Iain Duncan Smith criticizes the “complicated” traffic light system.
During a rage-filled tirade over British international travel laws, IAIN DUNCAN SMITH erupted.
While speaking on TalkRadio, former Conservative Party leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith claimed he was baffled by international travel laws. The comments come as the United Kingdom has recently put France to its controversial amber travel list after abolishing its previous amber watchlist.
Germany, Austria, and Norway were among the countries added to the green list this week.
Sir Iain also stressed the need of Britons returning to normal life following the Covid disaster.
“I have to say, I am perplexed,” Sir Iain replied.
“I find the entire traffic light system for international travel to be really perplexing.
As part of the adjustments, India, Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates will be moved from the red list to the amber list, effective at 04:00 BST on August 8.
The laws requiring travelers to undergo tests before and after their return have not changed.
Sir Iain also emphasized the importance of Britons getting out and exercising their liberties after being protected by vaccines.
He mentioned his recent excursion to the theater, which he had much enjoyed.
“I must admit, I was watching a magnificent musical performance last night,” he remarked.
“The audience was packed; people liked it, and the performers loved the concept of performing in front of a crowd.
“For the love of God, it reminded me that life is about us, about having fun, about being together, about being social creatures.
“It’s amazing how abruptly we realize what we’ve been missing.”
