Home cook reveals how to make sun-dried tomatoes in an AIR FRYER from Kmart

An amateur chef has shared a simple recipe for making sun-dried tomatoes in a $69 Kmart 3-in-1 Air Fryer.

The home cook revealed she used five ingredients: tomatoes, salt, pepper, garlic and herbs.

The Australian woman said it will take three hours to cook but it’s an easy recipe and tastes just like the ones you can buy at the supermarket.

First, she cut the tomatoes into quarters and coated them with olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper.

The home cook then placed each tomato in the air fryer and cooked them for three hours at 90 degrees.

After three hours in the air fryer, the woman placed the tomatoes in the jar with ‘the herbs of choice’.

‘I used twigs of thyme and rosemary that I have growing in my garden. Placed two peeled garlic cloves and 4 whole peppercorns in the jar and topped it all with good olive oil,’ she explained.

Other Facebook users commented on the post, saying the recipe looks easy to make and they will be trying it.

‘Your recipe is so informative, make it easier for me try it. Thank you so much,’ one person commented.

‘These look yum but just read the recipe. Best method I’ve read so far,’ another one agreed.

‘Thanks for the recipe. It’s definitely in my saved list,’ another person wrote.

One person said: ‘Well done they look delicious. Must try them.’
