PRINCE ANDREW met his granddaughter for the first time about two weeks after she was born.
With their newborn baby Sienna Elizabeth Mappelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mappelli Mozzi paid a visit to Prince Andrew in Windsor on Friday. “It is very something that he had to wait almost two weeks before he met her,” a source told The Sun. Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, departed Balmoral to attend Beatrice’s birth in a London hospital.
The revelation of the newborn’s name, however, was said to be postponed until the Duke of York had departed Balmoral.
Princess Beatrice revealed the name of her infant on Twitter last week, writing: “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.”
“We are all doing great, and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna,” the statement continued.”
The baby is the 12th great-grandchild of the Queen.
On September 18, at 11:42 p.m., she was born in the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
Sienna Elizabeth is also the 11th in line to the throne of the United Kingdom.
Her middle name pays homage to the reigning monarch.
Edoardo’s second kid is Sienna.
From his partnership with architect Dara Huang, he has a son Christopher Woolf, who was born in 2016.
On July 17, 2020, at the Royal Chapel of All Saints, Royal Lodge in Windsor, the Princess married Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony.
Princess Beatrice is the Duke of York’s eldest daughter by his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York.
August Philip Hawke, Princess Eugenie’s first child, was born on February 9th, 2021.
