Have a fantastic birthday, George

In a birthday portrait honoring his late great-grandfather, Prince George shines brightly. George, who is eight today, is pictured riding in a Land Rover Defender, which was formerly a favorite of Prince Philip’s.

George’s mother, Kate, took the shot, which she has made a habit of sharing on special occasions.

She uploaded a snapshot she took of Prince Philip and George enjoying the great outdoors in one of Philip’s carriages several years ago when he died in April this year.

Her most recent photograph of George was shot at Anmer Hall, near Norfolk, the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge’s country getaway.

In a blue and orange striped T-shirt and pants, George appears to be growing up, a far cry from the toddler shorts and long socks he wore in 2015.

Following his gappy smile when he was losing his milk teeth two years ago, he is proudly showing off his adult teeth this time.

George, who was recently spotted at Wembley Stadium with his parents for the Euro 2020 final, and his siblings Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, normally spend their birthdays with their parents in the countryside, and it is expected that this year will be no different.

Kate, 39, said that in order to make them a cake, she normally stays up until at least midnight the night before their big days.

Anmer Hall, where the Cambridge family spent much of the early part of the pandemic, is said to be her favorite site.

George and Charlotte were both students at Thomas’s Battersea, which is now closed for the holidays, when they returned to London for the summer school term.

Prince George is the third in line to the throne of the United Kingdom, after his grandpa Prince Charles, 72, and father Prince William, 39.

On July 22, 2013, he was born at the LindoWing of St Mary’s Hospital in London, during a heatwave that blanketed the United Kingdom.
