GOP Senator blasts Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s “backup quarterback.”

Republican Senator John Barrasso has referred to Kamala Harris as President Biden’s “backup quarterback.”

Senator Barrasso compared Harris to a key player on an American Football team, claiming that she was prone to political blunders.

Barrasso, the senior senator from Wyoming, slammed the Biden administration’s handling of the coronavirus and inflation.

“The undeniable truth is that Joe Biden is overwhelmed and ineffective as President,” he said.

“And the vice president, his backup quarterback, seems to fumble or throw an interception every time she touches the ball.”

“And the reason I say that is because the American people just experienced the most expensive Christmas in history.”

After the US President received his highest disapproval rating yet in December, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden both began the year with low approval ratings.

The country’s dissatisfaction with the government’s handling of the ongoing Covid pandemic and the economy’s constant supervision is reflected in the ratings.

Furthermore, the cost of gasoline and other necessities is rising.

“The price of gasoline at the pump on Christmas Day was the highest it’s ever been on a Christmas day in America,” Barrasso continued.

“This Christmas, the price of a gallon of gas is one dollar higher than it was last Christmas.

“It’s not just gasoline; it’s also Christmas presents.

For Christmas, it’s all about the groceries.

“People all over the country are struggling and suffering, and the president and vice president seem to believe that all they need to do is wave a magic wand and everything will be fine.”

Barrasso was particularly critical of Vice President Harris’s recent interview with CBS News.

“She was asked about inflation and if it was transitory,” he said. “Remember, the administration, the vice president, and the president all said that inflation was transitory month after month after month.”

“They kept saying it until inflation reached a 40-year high.

“It wasn’t a trick question, but her response was rambling and incomprehensible.”

The remarks come as Republicans gain confidence in their ability to retake the Senate and the House of Representatives in November’s midterm elections.
