Earlier this year, Lyst, a global fashion search engine, noticed spikes in people looking for clothes in shades of pistachio and sage. It predicted — rightly, as it turns out — that green would be the colour of the summer.
The pistachio hue, a mellow combination of mint and lime, is refreshingly chic. Admired on the catwalks of French designer Jacquemus and American brand Tibi, the unusual shade has finally filtered down to the High Street.
Looking for a floaty dress? Try Warehouse’s cotton frock and pair it with heeled mules. Or, if you prefer a mere hint of green, experiment with a clutch by Cult Gaia and an oversized scrunchie by Jennifer Behr.
