GMB’s Piers Morgan and Peter Andre conflict in frosty Katie Worth grilling

GOOD Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan may have gone a little far today.

Good Morning Britain presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid spoke to presenter Peter Andre on the show today.

The pair asked Peter about his new film and what he thought of Michael Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland after it was revealed he came second in a competition to perform for Michael.

But the chat quickly turned frosty when Piers reminded him that her ex Katie Price had been on the show recently, playing a clip of her slamming him for not letting her film with their children Junior and Princess.

After making it clear Katie had branded him a “selfish hypocrite,” Piers asked Peter what he thought about it.

Looking very uncomfortable, he said: “Piers you should know that i wouldn’t talk about these publicly. Piers, you know me.”

Susanna chipped in: “Well, it is only fair we give you a chance to respond when someone says stuff like this…”

Peter replied: “It’s a legal issue so it should never be talked about.”

Changing the subject, Peter awkwardly asked Charlotte Hawkins: “How are you?”

Taking the hint, Piers quickly asked: “So what else are you up to at the moment?” letting Peter talk about appearing in Grease.

Appearing on GMB last month, Katie took a number of swipes at Peter when asked by Piers and Susanna about her third husband Kieran Hayler.

She raged: “I’ll tell you about husband number one,” she raged. “So I’m doing my reality show at the moment and I’m actually really cheesed off with Pete, I’m not asking you to comment because you can’t be biased.

“So people are going to be watching my show wondering ‘Where is Junior and Princess?’ He won’t allow me to film with them, he won’t allow me to do photo shoots with them and he’s been such a hypocrite.

“But unfortunately at this stage you need both parents’ permission, so I just want to but it out there that he’s incredibly selfish and the kids miss out on it.

GMB continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV.
