FOUR stars went bonkers when they were locked up in a container for fi ve days with no contact with the outside world.
TV presenter Anthea Turner, comedienne Shazia Mirza, strongman Eddie Hall and rapper Professor Green all signed up for the new Channel 5 show.
They were shut into individual holders with only a bed, a loo and a shower – and with cameras watching their every move.
So, it didn’t take very long for them to unravel and threaten to hit the red button and quit. We can reveal…
Anthea went into “TV presenter mode” and started talking to the cameras like she was on an episode of Blue Peter and even made paper doilies to decorate her pod. She admits: “It’s worse than I thought.”
Britain’s strongest man Eddie was like a caged animal and started hitting the walls as he struggled to cope with being stuck in such a small space when he is 6ft 3in and weighs 27st.
He rages: “You’re b******s!”
Shazia failed to see the funny side when TV chiefs tried to take away her luxury item – a globe – which she brought in to remind her of all the places she had visited.
She fumes: “It’s like Prisoner Cell Block H.”
Professor Green slept for 17 hours to calm himself down as he hated the stink in his container and was raging when bosses took away his diffuser.
He warns: “The toys are coming out the pram.”
The show – nicknamed “I’m A Cell-ebrity Get Me Out Of Here’’ and hosted by George Lamb – starts on Tuesday at 9.15pm.
