After his BrewDog brewery chain failed, Georgia Toffolo and her husband James Watt took a lavish vacation to France on Friday.

The 31-year-old I’m A Celeb actress, who married the 44-year-old rich businessman last year, stated that they “needed time together more than ever.”

During his tenure at the top pub, James was involved in a number of scandals, including claims that he fostered a “toxic workplace” prior to the company entering administration in March, which resulted in 38 bar closures, 484 job losses, and shareholders receiving nothing.

Georgia posted peeks of the trip to her Instagram Stories as they drove around in a convertible and stayed in a five-star hotel, seemingly putting the drama behind them.

The TV personality flaunted a variety of fashionable ensembles from the couple’s elegant outdoor dinners to their sun-drenched tennis matches.

Georgia looked amazing in a sequined dress that she modeled for the cameras and accessorized with a £10 purse from the Vinted resale marketplace.

“We need this time together more than ever, I can’t even tell you,” she remarked. Being here and not working makes us feel like two overly enthusiastic teens.

After his BrewDog brewery chain failed, Georgia Toffolo and her husband James Watt took a lavish vacation to France on Friday.

Georgia looked amazing in a sequined dress that she modeled for the cameras and accessorized with a £10 purse from the Vinted resale marketplace.

James Watt revealed earlier this month that he was starting a new beer brand, Second Best, and that he intended to give the former BrewDog investors about 20% of his new company’s shares in order to “make good” on what he considered to be a “obligation.”

In one of her Instagram Stories, Georgia encouraged former investors to sign up and recover their stock for free. She was also available to help spread the news.

The new beers will leave the canning line at zero degrees and be delivered to consumers in insulated cartons, guaranteeing that it never warms over 5C, in order to prevent the heat deterioration typical of supermarket supply chains, according to the Times.

When BrewDog went into administration, it was discovered that it owed £500 million, leaving shareholders with nothing because its Equity Punk shares were worthless.

At the time of its sale, the once-famous craft beer company owed creditors £553.8 million, leaving an estimated £480 million black hole following its pre-pack rescue agreement.

The numbers demonstrated the extent of the company’s precipitous decline, which included the closure of 38 pubs, 484 layoffs, and the acquisition of its brewery and 11 bars by US manufacturer Tilray for a mere £33 million.

Earlier this month, the Scottish brewery, which a few years ago was estimated to be worth £2 billion, was sold to the US cannabis and beverage company Tilray for a fraction of that amount.

James Watt said earlier this month that he was starting a new beer brand, Second Best, and that he intended to offer the old BrewDog investors around 20% of the shares in his new business.

In one of her Instagram Stories, Georgia encouraged former investors to sign up and recover their stock for free. She was also available to help spread the news.

In an all-hands conference call, CEO James Taylor informed 484 employees that they were no longer employed, leading to the closure of 38 UK bars.

James, who resigned as CEO in 2024 because to accusations of a hostile atmosphere at BrewDog, stated that he “loved to save every single job and every single equity punk investment” but “couldn’t,” adding, “That will stay with me.”

Georgia discussed the strain of BrewDog’s demise on the couple’s relationship on social media at the beginning of this month.

The reality TV personality claimed that her five-month battle to conceive was exacerbated by the stress of her husband’s business failure.

She stated, “I’m sitting here thinking about the year,” in response to the aftermath. We’ve been under a lot of stress. You guys have undoubtedly seen it all; navigating public content, such as the BrewDog stuff, has proven somewhat challenging.

Georgia went on, “And there’s always stuff going on in every single family around the world.”

“I simply believe that it’s been a lot for us to start trying for a baby at the same time. We’re both very strong and tough, and we’ve struggled to acknowledge that it’s been a difficult year.”

In addition to my ignorance, I genuinely believed that people who are extremely healthy and active, like us, become pregnant quite rapidly, but this isn’t always the case.

“There’s a lot of biological stuff going up sometimes, but I think it’s all coinciding.”

In March 2025, the pair got married in Scotland on a fishing boat off the shore of the charming Aberdeenshire town of Gardenstown.

The previous October, while on vacation in Greece for Georgia’s 30th birthday, the millionaire proposed to the celebrity with an eight carat triple-diamond studded band estimated to be worth £200,000.
