FRANKIE Bridge let out a scream as glazed carrots went up in flames in a gaffe on Sunday Brunch.
The singer looked shocked as Simon Rimmer’s dish caught fire during today’s Channel 4 show.
As he cooked Texas roadhouse steak with bourbon glazed carrots, Simon was caught off guard when it suddenly got hot in the kitchen.
He said: “So, in goes the booze and you just…woah.”
Simon’s yell and the billowing flame made Frankie jump.
After managing to get it back under control, Frankie asked the chef: “Did you mean to do that?”
Simon replied: “Yeah it’s booze you want to burn off the alcohol….” before admitting: “No, I didn’t mean to do that.”
Despite trying to carry on as normal, Simon’s co-host Tim noticed the carrots were still on fire.
He asked: “Will that ever go out though?”
Simon assured him it would – before trying to blow out the fire himself.
Viewers made fun of the chef over the amusing moment.
