Netflix’s Streaming App Gets Some New Games

Netflix has already launched a library of games all across the world, according to an AndroidPolice post from earlier this month. Cardb Blast and Stranger Things 3: The Game have already debuted on the streaming service.

While the overall selection was initially limited, the firm chose to commit to adding additional titles to the service. Two more games have been added to the streaming services’ list as a result of the recent upgrade. One of these is a once-popular racing game that has made its way back into the present world.

What is Asphalt Xtreme, and how does it work?

Asphalt Xtreme is only one of several various racing games by Gamelost that are already accessible on smartphones. Of course, this was before the game was officially closed down in September of this year.

The development of the app came to an end in 2017, four years before Gameloft decided to remove it from all mobile devices. This may have piqued Netflix’s interest, as the app will be available to customers in the United States in the coming weeks, according to TechCrunch.

For Netflix, Asphalt Xtreme has been beefed up.

One thing is evident from the teaser for the fresh relaunch of Asphalt Xtreme: the game has been completely rebuilt from start to finish. In-app purchases have been removed from the game, and it is now only available to Netflix subscribers.

In some ways, it’s still a competitor’s approach, such as Apple’s, which is now grabbing up mobile games and resurrecting them without commercials or expensive microtransactions. Fans who were previously addicted to Asphalt Xtreme will have to download the game from the Netflix app in order to begin playing it again.
