While the pair was at the Kentucky Derby over the weekend, Jordon Hudson made a joke about her connection with Bill Belichick and the attention it receives.
This week, the 25-year-old cheerleader and 74-year-old University of North Carolina coach made their Churchill Downs debut by putting on a romantic show at the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.
The duo was seen holding hands while wading through the muddy area close to the track in a picture that Hudson posted to Instagram on Saturday to document their time at the yearly racing spectacle.
“Not the first time we’ve trudged through the mud together,” she captioned the photo, alluding to the highs and lows of their affair, taking advantage of the opportunity to light-heartedly mock her connection with the renowned football coach and the controversy it has created.
Since they started dating in 2024, the couple’s relationship—more especially, their 49-year age difference—has been closely watched.

When Belichick autographed one of 25-year-old Hudson’s textbooks in February 2021, it is said that they first met on a flight from Boston to Florida.
However, in a now-famous interview in April 2025, Hudson became enraged when CBS Sunday Morning’s Tony Dokoupil dared to enquire about their initial encounter from the previous year.
Earlier that month, it also came to light that Hudson had been begging the University of North Carolina to restrict remarks on the couple’s relationship on social media.
Soon after, in July, the Daily Mail reported that the university was dealing with a tidal wave of criticism from teachers, donors, and alumni who claimed the age gap relationship was overshadowing Belichick’s coaching debut and damaging UNC’s reputation.
Emails uncovered following a public records request revealed the internal turmoil over what critics had been calling a “disgrace” and a “circus,” despite the fact that the attention-grabbing couple had garnered media attention since going public in 2023.
UNC lost at NC State this season, finishing 4-8 and missing out on a bowl game for the first time since 2018, despite hiring the most successful NFL coach in history.
Over the past two years, Hudson has also failed to win over the legendary football coach’s family; last season, his daughter-in-law Jen even confronted her in public at a North Carolina game. Concerns about the degree of “control” Hudson has over Belichick have also been voiced by his pals.
Jen Belichick, who is married to Steve, Bill’s son, allegedly called Hudson “bats*** crazy” and charged her with “f***ing twisting” her 74-year-old boyfriend’s mind. According to the New York Post, she allegedly said that all Hudson “does is control s***.”

Steve Belichick is the Tar Heels’ defensive coordinator, working under his father.
However, his wife reportedly maintained that she didn’t care if Belichick disowned her or even fired his son as a result of her attack on Hudson. She has been married to Steve Belichick for a number of years.
