Following the autopsy results for Gabby Petito, Dog the Bounty Hunter was “keen to speak with Brian Laundrie’s sister Cassie.”
DOG the Bounty Hunter said he’s still looking for Brian Laundrie and wants to speak with his sister because he’s the only person of interest in Gabby Petito’s disappearance and subsequent homicide.
Police are hunting for Laundrie, who is being sought not for Petito’s death, but for allegedly using her credit card while she was gone, according to the legendary bounty hunter.
According to sources close to the bounty hunter, Dog, aka Duane Chapman, is interested in speaking with Laundrie’s sister Cassie.
Despite speculations to the contrary, Dog is still in Florida and resting after injuring his ankle earlier this week, according to TMZ sources.
Given that Cassie has spoke to a handful of protesters outside her Florida house earlier this month, Dog’s urge to speak with her could be useful.
“We’re just as angry, frustrated, and outraged as everyone else,” Cassie told the throng outside her house, saying that her parents are also refusing to speak to her.
“On top of that, I’m losing my parents, brother, children’s aunt, and future sister-in-law.”
She said she had no knowledge of the case or where Laundrie was hiding, and that she was unsure if her parents were assisting Laundrie in eluding investigators.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Dog claimed that he skipped out on his wedding to capture Laundrie.
“Because of what was happening, because they travelled through Colorado and were near to us,” Dog said he and his wife followed the case.
So we did it, and all of a sudden all of my fans were like, ‘Dog Dog Dog, this is right up your alley!'”
So that I can prolong my honeymoon is one of the last reasons I want to catch him. I hope that doesn’t come out as disrespectful to everyone connected in this case; it’s terrible, but that’s where we’re at right now, in our honeymoon.” After it was reported that Gabby Petito was strangled to death on Tuesday, Dog asked Brian to “bring himself up.”
After the autopsy results were disclosed, the TV star advised the fugitive that fleeing “makes you appear guilty.”
Dog told The Sun confidentially that “his best decision now would be to turn himself in,” and that Laundrie’s parents “need to be doing more to signal Brian to stop running.”
“According to the coroner’s statement, Brian Laundrie’s timeline appears to be getting worse,” Dog noted.
