The White House criticised actor Mark Hamill for sharing AI pictures of Donald Trump that seemed to be dead with the comment, “If only.”
The president is depicted in the AI image laying before a gravestone that reads 1946–2024. The years imply that the Star Wars actor hoped the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, had been successful.
The 74-year-old actor posted on BlueSky, a social media platform where many Democrats have fled since Elon Musk took over Twitter and changed its name to X.
“If Only, he should live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes,” he wrote. “Long enough to realise he’ll be disgraced in the history books, forevermore.”
After deleting the offending message a few hours later, he clarified and apologised once more for what he purportedly wanted to express.

Additionally, it implies that the Star Wars actor wished the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, had been successful.
He clarified the startling statement in another post, although it seemed to reiterate his desires: “Accurate Edit for Clarity: He should live long enough to… be held accountable for his… crimes.” I apologise if you thought the picture was inappropriate, but in reality, I was wishing him the opposite of death.”
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle criticised Hamill’s tweet in a statement to The Daily Mail and urged Barack Obama to denounce him after Hamill appeared in a film endorsing Obama’s pricey new presidential center.
Three days ago, Barack Hussein Obama made an appearance in a film alongside this insane person. This same individual is now advocating for President Trump’s execution, according to Ingle.
“Why won’t Democrats and Obama denounce this abhorrent call for violence?”
Hamill was also described as a “sick individual” in a White House account.
“These radical left-wing lunatics are unable to control themselves.” Three assassination attempts on our President in the past two years have been sparked by this type of discourse.
Former President Obama has been contacted by The Daily Mail for comment.
The Obama Foundation shared a video of Hamill and his spouse touring the Chicago monster with the phrase, #RelationshipGoals.
In other messages, Obama and Hamill talked about the actor’s notorious role in the Star Wars movie and joked about how long Hamill’s marriage had lasted.
The complex, which ran millions over budget and cost $850 million to construct, is scheduled to open on June 19.
