A boat is said to have exploded at a Miami beach on Saturday, sending at least 15 people to the hospital.
Around 1:00 PM on Saturday, the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue received a call regarding a possible boat explosion at Haulover Beach.
According to the Miami Herald, the explosion occurred close to the beach bar.
More than 25 units responded to the call after firemen elevated it to a Level 2 Mass Casualty Incident upon arrival, according to CBS News.
The reason of the possible explosion and the number of casualties are unknown.
There are still emergency personnel on the site. If a boat exploded, authorities have not confirmed it.
