Flydubai screens scenario with Boeing concerning 737 Max eight plane: assertion

DUBAI, March 11 (Xinhua) — Budget carrier Flydubai is in touch with Boeing regarding its 737 Max 8 aircraft and remains “confident in the airworthiness of our fleet,” a statement by the company said on Monday.

The airline company said “we are monitoring the situation and continue to be in touch with Boeing.”

The Ethiopian plane crashed, killing 157 people on board on Sunday.

Flydubai operates 11 Boeing 737 Max 8 and two Boeing 737 Max 9 jetliners.
