On August 2, Millie the Dachshund, of Waterbeach, Cambridge, was discovered with her head caught in the bottle holder by her owner. It’s unclear how the black and brown dog ended up in such a strange scenario, but she was so confined that firefighters had to intervene to save the day.

At 5.03 p.m., Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to help Millie get out of the contraption.

Firefighters arrived shortly after 5.30 p.m. and utilized cutters to carefully rescue the poor pooch.

Let’s hope Millie has learnt her lesson and won’t try another Houdini escape act in the near future.
