‘Extremely hands-on’ Kate is getting her kids ready for the start of school next week.

According to a royal expert, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, is “hands-on” as her children prepare to return to school.

According to royal writer Duncan Larcombe, the Duchess of Cambridge will be assisting her children in their preparations for the new school year. Kate, according to the expert, is very “hands-on” with the kids and helps them with pre-term rituals like buying new uniforms and stationary, which are common among parents across the country.

When the children return to school for the new term next week, Princess Charlotte, six, will begin Year 2 and her eight-year-old brother, Prince George, will begin Year 4.

“Kate had a really happy upbringing and really enjoyed her school days, so I think the way she was brought up is being used as a blueprint for her own three children,” Mr Larcombe stated in an interview with OK! Magazine.

“She’s a really hands-on mom, so she always makes sure she’s the one who goes shopping with the kids for school shoes and school supplies.”

The royal children are educated at Thomas’s Battersea, which teaches youngsters up to the age of 13, and Prince Louis is anticipated to attend the same school as his siblings when he reaches that age.

While his siblings return to school, the youngest of the clan will begin his second year at nursery school.

A royal source close to the Royal Family previously told OK! Magazine that Prince William and Kate’s parenting approach was “very organized.”

“As parents, Wills and Kate have developed this wonderful talent of letting as much of themselves appear spontaneous as possible, and that’s how the children view it,” the person said.

While it will be some time before decisions about the children’s education must be made, Mr Larcombe believes Kate and William are already contemplating their possibilities.

Duncan proposes that they take inspiration from William’s past by enrolling at Eton, “the school where kings and prime ministers go.”

“However, I wouldn’t be surprised if they choose Kate’s school, Marlborough,” he continued. They might want to make a statement and send the kids there because it’s a mixed school that’s extremely good.”

The Cambridges are returning to school after a rumoured summer staycation in the Isles of Scilly.
