Royal commentator Neil Sean has claimed that senior royals are worried about the details to be included in Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, making them wary of a UK return for Lilibet’s christening

A royal commentator has claimed that there are fears among senior royals that a return to the UK for Lilibet’s christening could be used by Prince Harry to fuel content for his upcoming memoir.

Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet was born in June, and the Queen has yet to meet her great-granddaughter.

It has been reported that the Sussexes were keen to have her christened at Windsor Castle, like her older brother Archie.

Royal sources have since claimed to the Telegraph that such an event is “highly unlikely” and the couple are opting instead to have a ceremony in the US.

Now, speaking on his YouTube channel, NBC royal commentator Neil Sean has suggested that there were fears among senior royals that a UK christening could be used as content in Harry’s tell-all autobiography, set for release in 2022.

“What some senior royals are concerned about is the fact that, if Harry and Meghan were to return for a christening, would this then make another chapter in that forthcoming tell-all memoir?” Neil claimed.

“And it would make perfect sense if you think about it, because this would give them a story good or bad.

“How well they were treated, if they were treated well at all, or how in fact did the day go.

“The other side of the coin is that senior members of the British Royal Family don’t want to be part of that book.”

The royal commentator claimed that the Duke had been given the opportunity to “curtail publishing the book”, but had supposedly decided against this, despite the royal institution’s alleged wariness.

He continued: “So why on Earth would the Royal Family want to leave themselves wide open to scrutiny, being featured in a book that they’re unhappy about?

“So perhaps that’s the true reason why Harry and Meghan have decided against returning; there simply would be no story.”

Since the prince stepped down from royal duties last year, his relationship with his brother has reportedly deteriorated. In the explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry admitted that he and his brother are now on “different paths”.

And Neil observed that whether Harry and Meghan make the visit across the pond may well come down to whether. Brinkwire presents summary news.
