Ethereum Dips Below 268.95 Level, Down 1% – Ethereum fell bellow the $268.95 level on Saturday. Ethereum was trading at 268.95 by 10:50 (14:50 GMT) on the Index, down 1.16% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since July 13.

The move downwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap down to $28.92B, or 9.24% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.


Ethereum had traded in a range of $265.48 to $275.04 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 7.35%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $7.50B or 11.54% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $263.0831 to $317.9449 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 81.10% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Bitcoin was last at $11,321.6 on the Index, down 2.40% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.33396 on the Index, a loss of 2.62%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $203.38B or 64.99% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $14.31B or 4.57% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
