Emmerdale’s Amy set for one more exit after critically merciless household backstabbing?

EMMERDALE’S Amy Wyatt was arrested in tonight’s episode.

Last week on Emmerdale, Amy Wyatt made a return to the village, though with a different actress – Natalie Ann Jamieson – in the role.

She had been living on the run after she tried to snatch her son Kyle and leave the village with him.

Amy later gave him back to his dad Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and ran away to Ireland for a fresh start.

But in tonight’s episode, as Cain clashed with Amy and her mum Kerry (Laura Norton) about custody, Faith (Sally Dexter) took things into her own hands.

“I was protecting my family”

In the Woolpack, police came in and arrested Amy on suspicion of abduction, leading to a major row between Faith and partner Eric Pollar (Christoper Chittell).

As Eric realises Faith was the one to call the police on Amy, given her outstanding arrest warrant, Faith showed no remorse.

She defiantly told Eric: “I was protecting my family. Anyone would do the same. Kyle doesn’t need her in his life.”

Eric snapped back: “Cain and Chas didn’t need you in theirs, but that didn’t stop you. You should get to know her, you’d love her.”

Cain has been seriously worried that Kyle could be taken away from him, but could Faith have fixed his problems?

And could Amy, now deciding she does want access, be stuck without her son for the rest of her life?

It seems Faith hasn’t thought about the consequences for her and Eric either, as he thinks of Amy as a daughter.

Could the couple be set for a tragic split as the custody battle becomes even messier?

Elsewhere in the episode, Kerry was left fuming after finding out Dan had taken Amelia to see Daz while she’d been in Ireland last week.

Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
