Emmerdale Michelle Keegan’s relationship to a soap star caused Ben’s life to be disrupted.

Simon Lennon, who plays Ben Tucker on Emmerdale, may be poised to leave the show after just over a year, but he has plenty to keep him occupied in his personal life.

Simon Lennon is best known for playing Ben Tucker in the ITV soap Emmerdale.

After acting in the BBC drama Our Girl with Michelle Keegan, Grantchester, and Bridgerton, he joined the cast in September of last year.

But, after little over a year on the show, it appears that he may be on his way out, as his character Ben’s tumultuous relationship with Danny Miller’s Aaron Dingle reaches a climax.

While fans are familiar with his role on TV, they are less familiar with Simon Lennon, therefore Brinkwire has researched into his life to give our readers a better understanding of the character.

Between December 2017 and September 2019, Simon, 27, was notably linked to Coronation Street actor Sair Khan.

The couple met at a Buckingham Palace event and have enjoyed sharing photos of their romance with fans on social media, particularly during her time on I’m A Celebrity… I need to get out of here.

When asked about their previous connection, she said: “At Buckingham Palace, we met. We were both members of the National Youth Theatre, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a large gala.

“We met through a common acquaintance who he is in Our Girl with, as a few of ex-members were invited to that evening at Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, the Queen was not present.” Sair took on a new reality TV challenge on Sink Or Swim, and the two eventually split owing to job commitments.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Sair has finding learning to swim from scratch to be a difficult task.

“Training has been more tough than she had anticipated, and it has taken a toll on her emotionally and strained her relationship.”

Simon, who is understood to be unmarried, has always aspired to be an actor and began his career as a member of the National Youth Theatre when he was a child. He has also participated in various theatrical shows throughout his career before to moving to the Dales.

He enjoys football in his spare time and has utilized his on-field abilities to raise money for charity on multiple occasions.

Simon was given the opportunity to play Brains in Our Girl for four years. The news is summarized by Brinkwire.
