After almost ten years without any answers, the parents of a two-year-old child who vanished in Nevada have admitted to killing her.
According to 8 News Now, Ricky Beasley, 34, and Lakeia Walker, 35, both agreed to plea agreements in relation to the abduction of their daughter, Zaela Walker.
Walker entered a guilty plea to being an accessory to murder, while Beasley entered a guilty plea to second-degree murder.
Zaela would have been ten this year, but her body was never located.
The young child was with her father on August 15, 2018, while her mother went to a job interview, according to the North Las Vegas Police (NLVPD).
Beasley refused to give Walker’s daughter back when the parents later reunited at a park.
According to officials, the mother called authorities in a frantic attempt to get Zaela returned since she needed a doctor’s visit due to a swollen lymph node.
According to the site, Beasley demanded $13,000 if Walker wanted her daughter back.
After allegedly attempting to start over with Walker, Beasley was taken into custody in Texas. Later, in March 2019, she was taken into custody.

On August 21, officials reported that Beasley’s mother reported to the police that she heard a thump and saw Beasley bringing Zaela to the bathroom for a bath.
According to the NLVPD, the father tossed a cot because he was upset that she had urinated on herself.
Officials, however, stated that the toddler would only be seen alive by Zaela’s parents.
The next day, the father looked up seizure remedies on Google and investigated the possibility of using marijuana.
He then went to a cannabis dispensary, according to the police, to buy a pre-rolled joint.
Before leaving town in Beasley’s mother’s vehicle, the parents met in a park on August 22, according to officials, where Walker left her car, wallet, and mobile phone.
According to the NLVPD, the parents only returned to town in September 2018 to pick up money before departing once more and travelling through other states before arriving in Mexico.
When Zaela Walker was last seen in August of 2018, she was two years old; today, she would be around ten years old.
On July 23, the parents are anticipated to get their sentences. In 2019, a grand jury first indicted them.
On November 16, authorities in Texas stopped Beasley and Walker because they were reportedly attempting to start over.
The NLVPD requested assistance from the public to find them around two weeks later.
Prior to Walker’s arrest in March 2019, Beasley was taken into custody on December 1.
