During a royal tour, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William were given samples of Northern Irish whiskey, but only the Duke appeared to sip it.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Northern Ireland for a visit. William and Kate began their day-long journey in Londonderry by touring Ulster University’s Magee Campus, where they met young people and heard how organizations are interacting across communities. From whiskey and soda bread to Tayto crisps, the duke and duchess were given the opportunity to try some Northern Irish food and drink.

The Cambridges were told to treat themselves to whiskey samples in a video clip uploaded by royal writer Richard Palmer, but only William picked up a glass.

Since then, the Duke and Duchess have visited City of Derry Rugby Club to meet players, coaches, and volunteers working in the Sport Uniting Communities initiative.

William and Kate are meeting young players who are participating in events and hearing from local clubs about how the program has brought people from all walks of life together.

The Irish Football Association, the Ulster Gaelic Athletic Association, and Ulster Rugby have joined forces to promote peace and reconciliation through sport.

It comes less than a day after William and Kate attended the London premiere of James Bond.

When James Bond actor Daniel Craig complemented the Duchess of Cambridge’s beautiful outfit worn to the 007 international premiere, he had only one eye for her.

When Kate wore a gleaming gold Jenny Packham gown at the global launch of No Time To Die, the actor, who has stepped down from the iconic role, complimented her, “You look jolly lovely.”

The Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were among the royals who attended the star-studded event at the Royal Albert Hall, which boosted the film sector.

Camilla looked stunning in a pale blue chiffon gown by Bruce Oldfield, while the royal males wore black ties.

After mounting flights of steps flanked by members of the Armed Forces, the royal guests walked the very long red carpet and posed for a photo before the premiere began.

Oscar winner Rami Malek, who enters the franchise as villain Safin, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, one of the film’s screenwriters, were among the cast members who later met the royals.
