A woman and her boyfriend accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman while holding her captive for two days have been hit with further charges.
Douglas Dixon, 30, and Khloe Stace, 21, allegedly kidnapped the 28-year-old woman on April 13 before locking her inside a bedroom at his home in Maitland near the Hunter Valley in NSW.
The woman allegedly hadn’t paid the couple a $750 drug debt she racked up while waiting to receive cash via a government coronavirus stimulus package.
Stace and Dixon, who share a child together, are accused of locking the woman inside a bedroom where they allegedly drugged, sexually assaulted and tied her up to stop her from fleeing.
The alleged victim managed to scream for help from the bedroom window before people outside called police.
She suffered a fractured eye socket, punctured lung and extensive bruising.
The couple were arrested in April and have appeared in Newcastle Local Court a number of times since.
Both Dixon and Stace were charged with offences including aggravated sexual assault in company, inflicting actual bodily harm and drug-related charges.
On Thursday Dixon was hit with more charges – take/detain in company, two counts of aggravated sexual assault in company and attempted aggravated sexual assault in company.
Stace’s further charges include assault occasioning actual bodily harm, take/detain in company and two counts of aggravated sexual assault in company.
The court previously heard forensic tests revealed the woman had Dixon’s semen inside her.
She was allegedly made to perform oral sex on Stace before being punched in the mouth by Dixon, the court heard.
Both remain in custody and will reappear in court in September.
