Diana would “notice he’s got a lot of Spencer,” causing Prince William pain.

A critic once said that Prince William had “a lot of Spencer in him,” and that Diana, Princess of Wales, would recognize this “steely” trait if she were living today.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to France this week to attend James Middleton and Alizee Thevenet’s wedding. Kate’s older brother, James, 34, is known to have a tight bond with his older sister. According to sources, she and William were joined by their children Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.

Pippa Middleton, her husband James Matthews, and their two children Arthur and Grace were also in attendance.

It was undoubtedly a welcome respite for William, who has been the subject of heightened media attention in recent months as a result of his and the Royal Family’s feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Tensions were at an all-time high after the couple sat down with US talk show host Oprah Winfrey and accused the Firm of racism and failing to help Meghan with her mental health issues.

This last issue received a lot of attention, with many references to Diana, Princess of Wales, and the Royal Family’s alleged failings to assist her while she struggled with mental illness.

Since then, Diana has been a constant presence in William and Harry’s life.

Many people have compared the two to their parents, with Harry being linked to Diana and William being compared to Charles.

Royal author Judy Wade said William was made like a “Spencer” — his mother’s side of the family — during the Real Stories documentary “Prince Charles and Prince William: Royal Rivals?”

Diana, she suggested, would be the one to notice this “steely” feature.

“I believe Diana, if she could see William today, would think he has a lot of Spencer in him,” she said.

“First and foremost, he has her iron drive.

“He knows what he wants and when he wants it, and he usually gets it.”

In 1997, Diana was killed in a vehicle accident in Paris.

While William has already spoken openly about his loss and pain following her passing, it is Harry who has gone into the deepest detail.

He previously stated that as a young adult, he blotted out the memory of his mother by becoming “Crazy Harry,” a notorious party animal.

In 2017, he explained that he had misunderstood the concept. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
