DAVID Beckham has inadvertently revealed a secret perk exclusively for tennis fans sitting in the royal box at Wimbledon.
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle put on a united front at the ladies final this afternoon, backing Serena Williams as she was sensationally taken down by Simona Halep.
Halep thrashed her rival 6-2 6-2, smashing her hopes of a 24th Grand Slam victory.
Kate and Meghan, both 37, have become familiar fixtures in the royal box, along with other members of the Royal Family.
Former England legend David Beckham was among those lucky enough to receive an invite to the tournament.
He rubbed shoulders with VIPs including outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May, pictured inches away from the Duchess of Cambridge.
But the ex-Manchester United ace accidentally gave away a secret about the royal box in an Instagram post.
Beckham uploaded a picture of himself and mum, Sandra, enjoying a day out together watching the tennis.
He captioned the photo: “Fun day at Wimbledon with mum. #tradition @wimbledon @sandra_beckham49.”
But eagle-eyed fans spotted a mini-personalised television fitted inside, Hello! reported.
And Andy Murray’s mum Judy revealed another bonus of the box – a tennis-themed afternoon tea.
Judy shared a picture of the treat, including a chocolate racquet cake, on Twitter, telling fans: “Afternoon tea in @Wimbledon’s Royal Box. Jealous?”
Royal box seats are strictly reserved for friends and guests of Wimbledon.
The official website says the guest list can include: “British and overseas royal families, heads of government, people from the world of tennis, commercial partners, British Armed Forces, prominent media organisations, supporters of tennis and other walks of life.”
