Cummings drops yet another bombshell on Boris, claiming that something ‘definitely happened.’

DOMINIC CUMMINGS claims that “socially distanced drinks” were held in the Number 10 garden on May 20, 2020, despite warnings that this may have violated the Covid rules in effect at the time.

The former Downing Street adviser claimed that he and “at least one other spad [special advisor]warned “in writing” that it “seemed to be against the rules and should not happen” in a blog post published this afternoon (Friday).

The advice, on the other hand, was “overlooked.”

“I was sick and went to bed early that afternoon,” he continued, “but I’m told this event happened.”

“In my opinion, the official who organized this should have been removed anyway that summer because of his failures over Covid,” Mr. Cummings said.

I told the Prime Minister this several times.”

Boris Johnson, on the other hand, “rejected my argument,” according to him.

“In my opinion, punishing most officials who went to the garden for drinks on May 20th would not be fair because, given the nature of the invitation, a junior official would be justified in thinking ‘this must somehow be within the rules or X would not have invited me,'” he continued.

Mr Cummings also claimed that on the night he left Downing Street, November 13 of the same year, he was “told at the time that there was a party in the PM’s flat the night I left and staff in the press office said they could hear the music playing loudly in the press office below,” and that he was “told at the time that there was a party in the PM’s flat the night I left and staff in the press office said they could hear the music playing loudly in

“Officials I spoke with in 2021 told me and others that there were various parties after I left, and the Prime Minister was aware of them,” he claimed.

“I’ve also been told that in 2021, there are other photos of other parties breaking the rules, some of which feature the Prime Minister.”

For a response, Downing Street was contacted.

Boris Johnson was photographed with wine and cheese in the Downing Street garden on May 15 with his wife and up to 17 staff, according to the Guardian.

Downing Street denied that there had been a social gathering on that day, telling the newspaper that staff were working in the afternoon and evening.

Mr. Cummings reiterated his denial of the event being a social gathering in a blog post published this afternoon, calling such claims “wrong.”

“I had several meetings at that table,” he explained.

“News from the Brinkwire.”
