Covid kills a conspiracy theory obsessive anti-vaxxer who claimed there was “nothing to be scared of.”
After uploading a video saying the sickness was “nothing to be afraid of,” a COVID conspiracy theorist who refused to receive the vaccine died of the virus.
Leslie Lawrenson, 58, died of coronavirus at his home in Bournemouth just over a week after making a video on social media downplaying the virus’s risk. Mr Lawrenson was a solicitor who had graduated from Cambridge University and had no underlying health issues. Leslie died on July 2 after refusing to take the Covid vaccine because he believed he “didn’t need it.”
“The idea that we have to be terrified of this bogeyman,” the anti-vaxxer claimed in his vlog post. COVID-19 is a monster in some ways.
“We have to go past this.
“I realize that sounds unusual, and some people might be offended by my saying it, but I hope you understand.
“I’m hoping it’s COVID because I’d rather have the antibodies in my blood than have to take the vaccines.”
