Could the Queen prevent the Sussexes from attending the Platinum Jubilee celebrations?
Is it possible that the Queen would forbid the Sussexes from attending the Platinum Jubilee celebrations?
PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle were planning to visit the United Kingdom next year to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. However, one royal expert feels they may miss out on an invitation as a result of the announcement of Harry’s “intimate” book about royal life.
Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, have been stationed in the United States since quitting the Firm last year, and have not returned to the UK as a family unit since November 2019. They brought Lilibet, their first child, into the world last month, and they plan to visit the United Kingdom next year to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
Despite the upheaval the Sussexes have caused the monarchy, the Queen has remarked that they are well-liked members of the Royal Family.
This was stated by the Queen in a statement following the couple’s decision to stand down as senior royals in 2020, and more recently after the couple’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they made a series of devastating charges against the royal household, including one of racism.
The Queen, on the other hand, may have reached her limit with the Sussexes, as it was recently announced that Harry may publish a deeply personal memoir about his childhood in the Royal Family.
In a statement announcing his book, Harry said, “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born, but as the man I have become.”
“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and metaphorically, and my hope is that by sharing my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes and lessons learned — I may show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to share everything I’ve learned so far in my life, and I’m excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that is honest and fully truthful.”
“For the very first time,” according to the publishers, “Prince Harry will offer, in an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and powerful global individuals of our time, the definitive narrative of the events, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”
“Brinkwire Summary News” wrote, “covering his lifetime in the public eye from youth to the present, including his dedication to service, the military duty that.”
