Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien slams trolls who asked if she’d had a ‘fat transplant’ after wearing denim hotpants

STUNNING Corrie star Tina O’Brien has hit back at cruel trolls who branded her “fat” and said she should be “ashamed” of her figure.

The Sarah Louise Platt star was snapped walking in the sun looking amazing in cut-off denim shorts, vest top and trainers.

But the Corrie star attracted hurtful comments from trolls who attacked her look.

One wrote online: “Did she get a fat transplant? She should be ashamed of herself.”

Another keyboard coward said: “She got fat!”

But the defiant mum-of-two refused to be cowed by the comments and shared them on her Instagram page.

And she added: “Should feel ashamed? And we wonder why people, especially women struggle with self esteem.

“Instead I choose to feel love and gratitude for my healthy body that allows me to run around the garden with my son and bounce on the trampoline with my daughter. I choose love and acceptance.”

Co-star Lottie Henshall told her: “So beautiful inside and out! Keyboard warriors with nothing better to do.”

Lucy Fallon – who played her on-screen daughter Bethany – said: “Tina!!!!! You’re one of the most incredible women I’ve ever met. (And you’re beautiful) We don’t listen to them.”

Former Street pal Cath Tyldesley said: “What the f***?! I honestly pity these people. Jealous little sh**s.”

And Corrie stalwart Kate Ford raged: “The ridiculous person who made that ridiculous comment is called ‘here to make friends’ I mean looolllllll.”

Ex-Street favourite Nikki Sanderson said: “You look incredible!! Ignore the haters. Feel sorry for them that their lives must be so miserable that they have to project their misery on to others!! Love you xxxx.”

Emmerdale star Lisa Jane Riley sent a line of love hearts.

And fan Amanda said: “Oh my goodness that’s vile. I think you look absolutely fabulous. More power to you lady.”
