Following the book’s recent popularity, one of the authors of the unofficial biography of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has been hailed online.

Omid Scobie was hailed for the newfound popularity of Finding Freedom, the Meghan and Harry book he co-wrote. The unofficial narrative was published in paperback yesterday, with an epilogue focused on royal events involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the years 2020-2021.

The updated Finding Freedom was also a popular with the public in the United States, according to a Twitter account that tracks the best-selling books over a 24-hour period.

The biography was the fifth best-selling book in the United States in the 24 hour period studied, according to the Twitter account Top10Books.

Supporters of the royal novelist were ecstatic at the news.

Mr Scobie partnered on Finding Freedom with Carolyn Durand, who has shown to be a vocal admirer of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan and Harry’s budding romance, their hardships inside the Royal Family, and their choice to step down to embrace a new life as non-working members of the Firm were all chronicled in the first edition of the book, which was released in August 2020.

The first version of the biography was a big hit with the general public, earning it the distinction of New York Times bestseller within a month of its release.

Prior to the publication of Finding Freedom last year, a spokeswoman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stated that the two royals “weren’t interviewed and didn’t contribute to it.”

“This book is based on the authors’ personal experiences as members of the royal press corps, as well as their own independent reporting,” he continued.

Meghan and Harry’s reps have stated ahead of the book’s release that the authors do not speak for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

After meeting on a blind date in the summer of 2016, Meghan and Prince Harry married in May 2018.
