After her camper van was hijacked while traveling from Spain’s Costa Blanca to the UK, a British woman from Wiltshire went missing.
Louise, the concerned daughter of Wendy Iles, claimed late on Monday that she has not heard from her mother since Sunday at around 9 p.m. in the Alfafar neighborhood of Valencia. Louise has already called UK police.
Louise reported that on May 23, her mother and her dog Beau were traveling from Cumbre del Sol, which is close to Javea, to Caen, France, in order to catch the ferry back to the UK, however they missed their ferry crossing.
On an expat community, she posted a photo of her mother and the dog along with an appeal for information on her mother’s location.
Regarding her mother, she stated: “She is under five feet tall and travels with a Springer Spaniel, but her passport and camper are now believed to be stolen.” Turn off your phone now.
“I’m going with my last conversation with her where she was without the vehicle and had reported it stolen,” Louise said in response to a well-wisher who inquired as to why she believed the camper van and passports had been taken.
After receiving an Interpol reference number, she posted a second message on social media:
Please forward this post to anyone you know who has family, friends, or contacts in Spain to inquire about any sightings of my mother in the Valencia region.
