CHELSEA news and gossip – Starsport brings you all the latest from Stamford Bridge including updates on Eden Hazard, Ola Aina and Maurizio Sarri.
Real Madrid are refusing to give up in the chase for Chelsea ace Eden Hazard.
According to the Sunday Express, Bernabeu bosses are ready to up their valuation of Hazard from £150m to £200m.
The Champions League winners are looking for a big-name replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Hazard, who is stalling on signing a new £300,000-a-week contract, is not openly pushing to leave for Real Madrid.
But Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insists the Belgium international is staying put.
Spanish clubs have until the end of the month to complete their transfer business.
Chelsea have reached an agreement to loan Ola Aina to Torino, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Aina, who spent last season at Hull City, will arrive in Turin tomorrow to undergo a medical.
He will then put pen to paper on a contract to spend the season in Serie A.
Aina has made six appearances for Chelsea.
Maurizio Sarri has admitted he regrets failing to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus.
Sarri was eager to bring Higuain to Stamford Bridge but received little backing from Chelsea bosses.
The Argentina international eventually joined AC Milan on a season-long loan.
“Higuain? It’s a little regret but in the end everyone after the market has a few little regrets,” Sarri told Sky Sports Italia.
Higuain has revealed he felt Milan wanted him more than Chelsea.
“I have huge respect for Sarri, but he was the only one who wanted me at Chelsea,” the 30-year-old said.
