Camilla serves as a “buffer” between Charles, William, and Harry, saying, “Boys will be dreadful boys.”
A royal expert revealed in a program that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall works as a “buffer” between Prince Charles and his sons Prince William and Prince Harry.
The role Camilla had in delivering acceptance gestures to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle while they were still working members of the Royal Family has been revealed in new chapters of a book. Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex abruptly left the Firm and relocated to the United States. Harry has only visited the UK on a few occasions, including Prince Philip’s funeral and the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue.
Meghan, on the other hand, has not visited the United Kingdom since early last year.
According to Andrew Morton’s book “Meghan: A Hollywood Princess,” the Sussexes received a “secret coded” gesture to demonstrate inclusion inside the family.
According to Mr Morton, Camilla was among those who made such a gesture.
The Prince of Wales and Camilla met in the early 1970s and had a brief romance that ended suddenly when the Prince of Wales went overseas to join the Royal Navy.
After his marriage to the Princess of Wales “irretrievably fell down,” Charles confessed in a 1994 interview with Jonathan Dimbleby that their connection had been revived.
Following Princess Diana’s divorce, Charles and Camilla made their relationship public and married in a civil ceremony in 2005.
‘Prince Charles and Prince William: Royal Rivals?’ is a 2007 documentary that looks at the relationship between Charles and his two sons.
According to the documentary, William and Harry would understand why Camilla is “so good” for Charles, according to Judy Wade, the late royal correspondent for Hello! magazine.
“She’s like a crutch for him,” she explained, “boosting his ego and telling him he’s wonderful every day.”
“That’s not the kind of job that sons enjoy doing.”
“She’s the type of person that acts as a go-between for them and their father.
“I believe this is especially true if they’ve done something that their father doesn’t approve of.”
“Camilla has a kid of her own, and she understands that guys can be jerks at times.”
Camilla has “wisely sidestepped the position of stepmother” to William and Harry, according to the documentary’s narrator.
Royal expert Richard Kay, editor-at-large of the Daily Mail, echoed this sentiment.
“I believe Camilla hasn’t played a part in that position at all,” he remarked.
“Brinkwire Summary News” says, “She joined the relationship and marriage knowing what she was getting into.”
