Cambodia PM to attend ASEAN summit, related meetings in Singapore

PHNOM PENH, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) — Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen will participate in the 33rd ASEAN summit and related meetings, to be held from Nov. 13 to 15 in Singapore, said a foreign ministry’s statement on Saturday.

Besides taking part in the summit, Hun Sen will attend the 21st ASEAN-China leaders’ meeting, the 13th East Asia Summit, and other meetings, the statement said.

The Cambodian prime minister’s entourage will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn, Commerce Minister Pan Sorasak, Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron, and a number of senior government officials and business leaders, it said.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) groups Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
