Brits flock to Tower of London following The Sun’s plea to save its ravens – and keep the monarchy from falling

BRITS flocked to the Tower of London today following The Sun’s plea to save its ravens — and the country.

We told how the birds have been getting restless with so few tourists after reopening last month.

Two of the seven birds had begun venturing beyond the castle precincts to forage for food.

Legend suggests that the monarchy will crumble if they leave the Tower.

Among those to respond to our plea for visitors was Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas, 59, who was on crutches after breaking her ankle last month.

Peter and Claire Lowe, both 38, visited from Manchester with kids Oliver, nine, and Yvie, ten.

Yvie said: “The ravens are such a huge part of London and British history it would be a shame to let them go.

“I’m glad we could come to the Tower of London today to help save them.”
