Before their relationship ended, Princess Beatrice’s ex-boyfriend was like family to Sarah Ferguson.
According to newly discovered sources, PRINCESS BEATRICE’s ex-boyfriend treated Sarah Ferguson “like family” until the relationship terminated after ten years.
Royal relationships frequently dominate debate among watchers and fans, with many speculating on who single members of the Firm may be dating. However, once they’ve met their match, the focus swiftly shifts to the future and what it might contain for the members of the world’s most famous family. Before settling down with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Beatrice, 33, had a long-term relationship with Uber executive Dave Clark.
Last year, the pair married in a private ceremony with her grandmother, the Queen, and Prince Philip in attendance, and they recently delivered their first child, Sienna Elizabeth.
“So thrilled to share the news of the safe arrival of our baby on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London,” Beatrice said in a statement.
“I’d want to express my gratitude to the Midwife team and everyone at the hospital for their excellent care.”
Her daughter, who is Her Majesty’s 12 great-grandchild and the 11th in line to the throne, is the fourth royal baby to be born in 2021 following Meghan Markle, Zara Tindall, and Princess Eugenie.
Prior to her connection with Edo, Beatrice had a decade-long engagement with Dave, which prompted her mother Sarah Ferguson, sometimes known as Fergie, to refer to him as “like family.”
“After 10 years together, Beatrice and Dave had to ponder why they weren’t married,” a source told The Mail on Sunday after the couple split up in 2016.
“They discussed it and decided to take some time apart to think about the future.”
“They’re still friends, and the breakup was a mutual decision.”
The breakup was thought to be very painful for Beatrice’s family.
“Sarah [Ferguson] considers Dave to be part of the family,” another source said.
“She’s disappointed that it didn’t work out. They’ve been together for longer than a lot of marriages.” The breakup was allegedly amicable, but it was believed at the time that Beatrice, who had temporarily relocated to New York to be with Dave, had given her then-boyfriend an ultimatum about the direction of their relationship.
“Beatrice has suddenly become a lot more forceful and confident,” a source claimed.
“She offered Dave an ultimatum, but it backfired since he didn’t ask her to,” says Brinkwire.
