As Virgin Media installs a massive connection box across her road, the homeowner is in tears.

Virgin Media workers put a large connection box outside a homeowner’s driveway, causing her distress.

After a neighbor agreed to have it close to her boundary wall, Hanna Dillon, 32, appealed with workmen to move the four-foot high box a few feet to the side. Workmen, on the other hand, said that the designs required them to place it where the previous box – which was much smaller – had been.

According to Grimsby Live, the new junction box provides an enhanced link to Virgin’s cable TV network.

“It is a large box,” Hanna remarked from her home in the Lincolnshire town. With that in the way, how am I expected to get in and out of the driveway?

“I can’t believe what I’m hearing.

“They just laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and I sobbed. I’m going to have to sell the house now and lose money.”

The office assistant, who is not a Virgin client, had recently appealed to the council for a dropped kerb so that she could park her car in her driveway.

She has lived in the house for eight years and has spent a significant amount of money on upgrades.

Hanna said, “I’ve been here for eight years.”

“It’s a nice neighborhood,” says the narrator. The route is a little narrow, and only one automobile can pass through at a time.

“It’s serene, and I’ve made a lot of improvements to the house and the driveway, and I take care of it.”

The few Virgin customers on the street in the town’s Old Clee district recently received letters informing them of the upgrading and new junction boxes.

Hanna, on the other hand, claims she was not given early notice of the installation, which took place just outside her door.

“The cabinet outside Ms Dillon’s home has been in the same location for more than 20 years,” a Virgin Media representative stated.

“At a time when connectivity has never been more critical, we just replaced the damaged cabinet with a new one to help preserve our network.

“If a customer is dissatisfied with the position of one of our cabinets, they should contact us immediately, and we will look into it.”
