As Meghan’s lawyer explains, the Sussex PR team is ‘keen on trying to get the narrative out.’
After Meghan Markle’s lawyer participated in a new documentary on the couple’s relationship with the press, the Sussex PR team is “keen on trying to get the story out.”
In the new BBC documentary The Princes and the Press, Meghan Markle’s lawyer, Jenny Afia, defended her publicly against charges that she was a “difficult or demanding boss.” The allegations were “simply not accurate,” according to her, and a representative for the Sussexes called the accusation a “planned smear effort.” In a two-part series, The Princes and the Press, the damaged relationship between Princes Harry and William and the press was explored.
On his YouTube channel, royal expert Neil Sean discussed the appearance.
“The extremely thorny and delicate matter regarding the ongoing bullying charges from ex-staff who worked alongside the former Royals, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during their time at Frogmore Cottage and Kensington Palace,” the NBC royal correspondent stated.
He went on to say: “It’s fascinating because the BBC brought out a lawyer from Schillings, a large law firm in London, and they brought out this particular lady who was quite glamorous. [She] was only on for about 20 seconds to assert that all of the allegations of bullying were completely unfounded.
“There was no other viewpoint, and no other person was interviewed regarding that specific segment.
“There were some royal reporters who were operating on sources they couldn’t reveal – as is always the case – but why would you bring out Harry and Meghan’s lawyer? It sounds ridiculous.
“She would have needed permission from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the lawyer to appear on television in order to get his side of the story across.
“It didn’t really do much other than rekindling the flames.
He continued, ” “Now, we know that the presenter in question was not permitted to ask the lawyer too many questions because the investigation is still continuing.
“It’s still far from over. And, given that Meghan’s former aide, Jason, has admitted that she had a memory lapse while purportedly assisting with that book, it begs the question, what was the point of bringing the lawyer out in the first place? Is it to enrage members of the British monarchy in this country?” Yes, it did. “Brinkwire News Summary.”
